Marion passed away on 29th June 2025 at Longacre Care Home, Worthing, West Sussex.

Marion, preceded in death by her beloved parents Herbert and Nell Knight. Marion's Brother Alan (deceased), his wife Merle and children Roberta and David. Marion's surviving family members, her Niece Julie and Nephew Jules, Niece Yazz and Daughter Rio.

Marion was a caring woman, a devoted Daughter and tireless carer to her ailing Mother. Marion was a woman with a strong work ethic of 40 years service as a switchboard operator. She was a long standing advocate of animal welfare and a patron of animal protection. Marion was a formidable opponent and fearless in calling to account those responsible for the ill treatment of animals.

Marion enjoyed music and countless walks in the community parks and recreation grounds. Throughout her long and industrious life, she always remembered to send birthday cards to her family.

Marion was a generous woman and enjoyed having company, she would warmly welcome visitors to her home and offer hospitality, she described her neighbours as lovely and freely gave her time and was happy to look after their pet dogs while their owners were away.

Marion was noted for her wry sense of humour and put the world to rights and she loved ice-cream.
